Performing regular equipment maintenance keeps the dust extractors working smoothly. When operating not correctly, you would suffer lose in repairs and system downtime. These tips in this industrial dust collector maintenance checklist take only few minutes. But our paper book of maintenance and operation manual would do take a bit longer. Keeping up with this basic maintenance certainly prevents future problems.

Plan a schedule and check these tasks off when finished. Not only does this keep your dust extractor working stable, but it also offers documentation that the operator/staff performed regular inspections.
Tip 1: Before starting up the Pulse-jet type cartridge dust collectors, you should prepare the compressed air link to regulator, the air source should be clean without oil and water, the pressure should 0.4-0.6MP.

The filter regulator
The filter regulator is an air source pre-treatment equipment. one the one hand could eliminate the water and oil which could affect the filter when the backflow compressed air toughing the filter inside, on the other hand could adjust the air source pressure.

operate: lift up the head of the regulator, then rotate the head, then the pressure pointer will change the pressure.

in addition, rotate the regulator's bottom to let the water out regularly.
Tip 2: Power supply
the power supply should use 3 phase and 5 wire power. while checking the machine working, please confirm the blower is right rotary or converse rotary. if the noise is big but have small airflow, you should change the wire after the airflow became big.
Tip 3: if the main motor shut down or have a break, keeping the solenoid valve working, to let the dust cake to be shaking off.
Tips 4: after a daytime working, shut down the fan, but let the pulse-jet solenoid valve working for 5 minutes then shut down the main power supply.
Tips 5: please remove the dust bin or dust drawer regularly. for example: everyday remove or 3 days remove.
Tip 6: cleaning the cartridge filters in 4 months, use compressed air sweeping or cleaning air washing. if using clean air cleaning, please use flexible brushes then drying in the shadow. do not exposure to the sun. 

Tip 7: the filter should change after 1 years usage.
