DURR company have its main system for car painting and assembling system. they provide a new concept named "DryScrubber" for overspay painting oil. As we all known, painting oil is hard to be captured by physical interception dry filters, when the painting oil is on the surface of the filter like cartridges or filter bags, it is hard to be renewable. DURR's EcoDryScrubber use dry solution to overcome this problem. this article aims to probe in the main heart part of the system-surface filters.

Surface filter have rigid basic body and filter membrane, all the filtration is on the surface of the filters.

The sinter plate filter element is made of a variety of polymer compound powders and special binders by casting and sintering to form a wave-shaped porous matrix as the substrate of the plastic-fired filter element. The thickness of the substrate is about 4mm, and the interior is 30um. Uniform pores, then fill the FTFE in the voids on the surface of the matrix through a special spraying process to form pores of about 1-2 um.
In this dryscrubber system, the scrubbering material is the limestone, which could capture the wet oil painting. because of the surface filter characteristic: suitable for high concentration dust.
